Wills & Probate Assistant (1004595)

Description

Sue Ross Legal are working with a multi-site law firm who are looking to recruit a Legal Assistant to join their Wills and Probate team based in Sheffield.

This role will see you providing support to a team of Fee Earners with the progression of Wills and Probate files;

• Conducting wills and asset searches
• Drafting and completing legal forms including IHT205 forms
• Managing probate files under supervision
• Assisting with the administration of client’s personal affairs under Powers of Attorney or Court of Protection
• Dealing with LPA Registrations
• Witnessing the signature of Wills
• Conducting tasks on general management files under the Court of Protection
• Registration of trusts and estates with HMRC (using their online portal)
• Time recording all chargeable time in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
• Completing bills
• Preparing legal correspondence and documents
• Diary management
• Dealing with client queries

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience gained within Wills and Probate, have excellent organisational and communication skills.
