Description

Sue Ross Legal are working with a legal services company, who, due to continued success and growth, are recruiting for a Legal Cashier to join their team. This is a full time position and will be based within the central Derby office.

Duties will include;

  • Processing electronic bank payments including CHAPs, BACs etc
  • Checking and posting invoices onto inhouse systems
  • Reconciling bank accounts and statements
  • Reconciling ledgers
  • Posting disbursements onto inhouse systems
  • Conducting investigations into residual balances
  • Producing reports relating to compliance issues
  • Providing support with year end SRA and accounts audits
  • Providing high standards of service to clients
  • Working to set KPIs and SLAs

To be considered it is essential that you have experience working as a Legal Cashier within a law firm, have a sound working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules, and have excellent attention to detail. If you hold ILFM or AAT qualifications that would be an advantage but is not essential.
