Sue Ross Legal are working with a well-respected law firm for the recruitment of a Title Checker to work within the residential conveyancing department. This role is based in the Sheffield head office and duties will include:

  • Checking the title to Freehold and Leasehold titles in accordance with the criteria set by the department.
  • Meeting time scales and billing targets.
  • Raising any pertinent enquiries as required.
  • Reporting on the title of premises to the client in a comprehensive and cohesive manner.
  • Interpreting and reporting on searches.
  • Liaising with the conveyancing teams to provide them with information for complex transactions.

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have worked in Residential Conveyancing for circa 3 years and have experience of title checking to high standards. You should have strong IT skills along with the ability to work as part of a team.
