Sue Ross Legal are working with a Yorkshire based Law firm who are currently hiring within their Conveyancing Department. Our client is an extremely well established and successful legal firm who have held a stable presence in Sheffield and the surrounding areas for over 40 years. Due to their continued success, they are currently expanding their team and recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner.

Main responsibilities:

• Managing own caseload of residential conveyancing work including Freehold/Leasehold sales and purchase transactions, Remortgages and Transfer of Equity.
• Advising on a range of services such as services such as Leaseholder enfranchisement, Transfer of property or shares in a property, Shared ownership, Matrimonial and civil partnership transfers, Probate sales and transfers, Re-mortgage, Equity transfer, Freehold rent charge, Declarations of Trust, First registrations, Land acquisition, Auction property purchases and sales, Buy to let, Landlord services, HMO licences, and Social housing.
• Prioritising workload ensuring the efficient progression of cases and file management.
• Conducting matters with the highest level of Client Care.
• Providing an efficient and transparent customer experience for all clients throughout their journey and maintain regular contact to keep clients informed on the progress of their purchase or sale.

All applicants should possess the following skills / experience:

• A minimum of 2 years’ industry experience
• Ability to manage own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent organisation skills.
• Experience of Case Management systems, lender portals, land registry and HMRC/WLTT.
• Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability adapt to each client’s needs.
