Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a well-established and forward-thinking law firm in South Yorkshire, to recruit an organised and detail-orientated Conveyancing Assistant on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Assistant role:

Supporting solicitors and fee earners with all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages
Opening new files and managing administrative tasks throughout the conveyancing process
Drafting standard documents and correspondence
Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
Updating clients regularly and maintaining a high standard of client care
Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications, and post-completion procedures

The Ideal Candidate for the Conveyancing Assistant role will have:

Previous experience in a conveyancing support role
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A confident and professional telephone manner
Good IT skills, including experience with case management systems
