Paralegal for the Court of Protection/Deputyship Department - Nottingham

Sue Ross Legal are currently seeking a Paralegal to join the Court of Protection/Deputyship Department of a well-known firm of Solicitors based in  Nottingham.

 

In addition to general duties including diary management, booking appointments, answering the telephone, taking minutes and general audio-dictation, other responsibilities will include:

 

  • Drafting annual deputyship reports
  • Monitoring direct payment accounts and completing audits of the same
  • Management of payroll for support workers
  • Collating tax documentation for submission to HMRC for client self-assessment
  • Preparing files for costing and assessment to include using the SCCO e-filing portal
  • Sourcing and arranging insurances including public liability, household and vehicle

 

To be considered for this role it is essential that have experience working as a paralegal doing Court of Protection work. Ideally you will also have a law degree.
