Sue Ross Legal are excited to be working with a well-respected law firm who are currently seeking an Employment Solicitor to join their Sheffield office. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to grow and develop existing skills and experience in a supportive and thriving firm.

You will be responsible to the Heads of department and Partners of the firm. Duties may include; 

 

  • Dealing with correspondence
  • Running your own caseload
  • Liaising with clients and Legal Aid agency
  • Conducting own advocacy 
  • Assessing client suitability for public funding 
  • Meeting targets

 

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified solicitor with at least 2 – 3 years PQE (although this is just a guide and our client may consider candidates with more or less experience).  This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a firm that offers flexible working hours, including the opportunity to work from home. There may be an element of travel required for the role.

Although this is a position based in the client’s Sheffield office, if you are interested in this vacancy but do not live locally, you may still be considered if you are willing to travel to the Sheffield office as required for meetings.

The ideal candidate will be have experience dealing with employment related issues and meeting targets. You must de dedicated to providing exceptional levels of client care and be an excellent communicator. This is a great opportunity for newly qualified candidates with experience within employment who are seeking a rewarding and exciting career.
